Liuye Dao - Huanuo Sword Art
The Liuye Dao or willow leaf saber, was perhaps the most widely-used type of saber in Chinese history, as shown by the great number of existing examples and depictions in works of art from the Ming and Qing dynasties.The blade has a gentle curve that begins just ahead of the hilt.
It was the sidearm of choice for all branches of the military service.
The hilt gives good grip and this DAO has some nice features.
The blade is made of throughardende HCS 1060 and has a half length groove.
The scabbard is very well decoreated with brass and is feasible to fasten it to a belt.
